Everything Cool in Portugal
Dazzled is a sparkling new restaurant on the Lisbon nightlife scene. Opened in Summer 2010, this fabulous eatery is the result of a full facelift of the former restaurant at the always popular BBC (Belém Bar Café) nightclub.
Smart and sophisticated, the design is a blending of 1950’s modernity with shiny reflective surfaces of the disco era. Floor-to-ceiling glass, provides views of the Tagus River and April 25 Bridge. Mirrored surfaces reflect the brilliance of gold and silver dinnerware onto white backdrops. Black accents keep the design down-to-earth.
The cuisine is like a tasting menu of international cultures. Portuguese sausage is represented, of course. But diners also have the choice of Moroccan nems, Japanese gyosas, and dishes from France and Italy. Try the carpaccio of bacalhau with hummus, angus steak of 900 grams or sautéed prawns with wasabi butter. End your gastronomic travels with cannelloni of sweet rice and tapioca mango.
You would think all of this elegant ambaince would make for an expensive evening. Actually, the sparkle is just for fun and enjoyment. Individuals can dine for €35-50, depending on wine and extras.
The end of the meal does not mean the end of the night. Just step to the next room for dancing at the eternally fun BBC nightclub.
