Sétima Onda – Seventh Wave of Fun in Albufeira

The newest cool bar on the Algarve nightlife scene is Sétima Onda (Seventh Wave).  Located cliffside in Albuefeira, away from the touristy bars of Old Town and Montechoro, Sétima Onda is a secluded tropical oasis to meet friends and have fun. 

Ocean views dominate the open air ambiance. A massive 400m2 terrace is scattered with lounges and couches to sit, sip a cocktail and enjoy the view. 

Behind the terrace is a high tech bar.  During the day, lounge around and enjoy the chill-out atmosphere.  At night, nudge your way to the crowded dance floor and move to the beat of tracks spinning from the live dj.  Great mix of people here, largely Portuguese with a nice peppering of expats and tourists. 

If you are not a night owl, but you still want to enjoy a lovely ocean view from a spectacular terrace, step upstairs for lunch or dinner.  A full menu is available featuring a wide assortment of shellfish and fresh fish, salads, cataplanas and traditional Portuguese prepared meats. 

Sétima Onda is perfectly situated for a warm Summer night.  But, fortunately, the bar and restaurant is open all Winter too.  Special theme parties are organized to keep the atmosphere fresh and exciting.
