Everything Cool in Portugal
Ana Salazar might say her final collection is actually a work in progress. For Spring/Summer 2012, she creates new shapes and silhouettes that result from an esthetic that appears as though the pieces were halted in some odd moment of the construction process. This, of course, is intentional, and it is Ana Salazar at her best.

The palette for this enterprise is industrial as well, primarily black, but with contrasts of white, taupe and skin tones. Materials are soft linen and cotton twills, that balance out the hard appearance of waxed, lacquered and laminated fabrics.
