Cia Marítima is well-known for its sophisticated…and sexy….approach to women’s swimwear. Memories of Mediterranean summer hotspots of past eras inspire this collection for Spring/Summer 2012. The vibe is summer-cool chic. The woman in this season appears more casual, free from excesses, cool and chic all at the same time.

A retro feel prevails in the design with crochet details, embossed geometric patterns, and stripes with textured fabrics that appear as though knitted. Sticking close to Cia Mar´tima origins, fabrics patterns of leopard and snake skin are incorporated into the collection. Intricate finishes of embroidery and gold metal detail are applies by hand. The pallete emphasizes orange, yellow and pink tones.

For après-beach, Cia Marítima follows the same “cool chic” philosophy in beach dresses of chiffon, knitted mini dresses, tunics and shirts of cotton.
