MODALisboa Spring/Summer 2012 – Luis Buchinho
For Luís Buchinho, Spring/Summer 2012 resembles a Greco-Roman world. Drapes punctuate the entire collection. The silhouette is engaging and feminine. Dresses and skirts coexist–sometimes fluid, sometimes structured. Coats with defined waist and masculine pants are also draped. The design makes for a casual urban lifestyle, with a tropical perspective.

Materials are lightweight cottons, gauze linen, cupro, silks, sequins, jerseys and silk. Braids, cords, rope detail and crochet are incorporated in the pieces. Colors are white, pearl, leather, pink, yellow and black coral.
