For Spring/Summer 2012, Alexandra Moura takes her cues from those children’s books which pages are cut so that various bodies can be mixed and matched with different legs and different heads. Specifically for this collection, she delights in the book “Universal Animalário – Fabulous Fauna World Almanac.” Individual pieces are interchangeable for different looks, but also representing ideas, references, times, art movements and more.

Spontaneous volume and straight lines are key in this collection. Lengths vary from short to long. Strong components punctuate the look with an assembly of materials in cotton, silk, vinyl, jersey, crepe, matte sequins and cool wool.
