MODALisboa FREEDOM – Winter 2013 – V!tor
Mourning chic has arrived! And to mark the occasion, designer V!tor has thrown a (FUN)eral to celebrate. His collection for Winter 2013 is called “Life & Death.” The collection is inspired by the work of eclectic Yugoslav performer Marina Abramovic, whose works emphasizes forming a deep reflection honoring death by celebrating life. And so, V!tor stages his own funeral, and are delighted.

The result is black and more black. The esthetic is casual and comfortable. Big bulky sweaters engulf the body, some are actually unraveling. Other knits are designed with holes to look as though the garment is worn or stressed. FUNeral fashion at its finest?
