Surf at Night Surfing & Music Festival 2012 – 13-19 August, Praia de Cortegaça
Prepare for the craziest week of your life! The Surf at Night Surfing and Music Festival returns to Praia de Cortegaça (just south of Porto). And this year, the event is SUPER-sized! Organizers have expanded the festival from three days to seven. Competitive surfing, bodyboarding, workshops, contests and, oh yea, MUSIC is scheduled for 13-19 August.

Although surf competitions take place in the evenings, full days of activities are scheduled. A human chain activity will bring awareness to the degradation of local beaches. 1000 people are expected to participate. A skateboard experience is scheduled for kids. There are also fitness and well-being zones, surfing classes and artisan stands. (Click here for a map of the festival venue.)
