Portugal Fashion Awards 2012 – Winners Announced
WINNERS UPDATE: Fashion trendsetters, style critiques and the people that love them all converged on the Teatro Tivoli in Lisbon last night to celebrate the very best in Portugal Fashion for 2012. With Portuguese comedian Francisco Menezes presiding over the ceremony, winners in 15 categories were announced. The year’s best model awards went to Sara Sampaio (Best Female Model), Gonçalo Teixeira (Best Male Model) and Francisca Perez (Best New Face Model). Best National Brand is Nuno Gama, and Best International Brand is H&M. The top award for Best Designer went to none other than Luis Buchinho. Ana Salazar was honored with a Special Award for contributing to the development and progress of Portuguese Fashion.

Also this year, one individual will be recognized for her contribution to the development and progress of Portuguese fashion. The 2012 Fashion TV Special Prize will be awarded to Ana Salazar.
