50 Shades of Grey, the international best-selling novel by E. L. James, is now a major motion picture. The highly-anticipated erotic thriller set in Vancouver, by Hollywood-based Focus Features, has a distinctive Portuguese signature. Portuguese furniture and lighting designers Boca do Lobo, Brabbu, Delightfull and Koket have been selected by the film’s art directors to provide a luxurious, artistic, exclusive look to the film.

Much of the storyline, centering around a literature student Anastasia Steele’s and her relationship with the handsome, tormented, billionaire Christian Grey, takes place in Grey’s extravagant penthouse. 31 pieces have been selected from these Portuguese designers to decorate the apartment.

Some of the items included in the film are represented in this gallery. Click a photo to open a larger image.
