There is no doubt that highlight of the Algarve Summer event season is the Festival Med in Loulé. This three-day event celebrates world music and Mediterranean culture. Numerous international music acts are simultaneously scheduled across three stages. Street performers wander around the old town providing entertainment. Food stalls line the alleyways. Arts and crafts, poetry, cinema, children’s activities, exhibitions and lectures round out this fabulous festival.
