Attention foodies! Gather around wine aficionados! Cleanse your palate and prepare to be impressed! Some of Europe’s most acclaimed chefs, along with keepers of some of the world’s most respected wine cellars are coming to the Algarve for a major gastronomic event. It is the Fine Wines & Food Fair hosted by none other than two Michelin star Ocean Restaurant at the Vila Vita Parc luxury resort in Porches. Mark your calendars now for 9-12 May.



This savory celebration is part of the popular Rota das Estrelas (Route of the Stars) gastronomic festival. Launched in 2010, Rotas das Estrelas has one mission: introduce Portugal’s top chefs to a wider audience. Michelin star chefs at each location play host to at least two guest international chefs. All chefs participating share a unique characteristic…each have been honored with at least one Michelin star.

It’s not all about the food, however!. Fine wine shares the spotlight. Sommeliers from the leading wine cellars of the world are on hand for course pairings as well as special tastings.
