Originally debuting at Beijing Design Week in autumn of 2014, the exhibition How Do We Say Design in Portuguese? returns to Portugal to showcase home-grown creativity by some of the country’s best known designers, and architects. Two venues host this exhibition intended to be a circuit between cosmopolitan Lisbon and furniture production center Paredes. See How Do We Say Design in Portuguese? at MUDE in Lisbon from 29 January to 31 May, and at the Casa das Culturas in Paredes from 30 January to 3 May.

Objects in the exhibition aims to show the development of Portuguese design from 1980 to 2014. They represent traditional manufacturing sectors of the country, such as ceramics, glass, cork, footwear, textiles and wood.
