International Surrealism Now showcases works by over 50 artists from 28 countries from across the globe in a travelling exhibition. This project is organized and curated by Portuguese surrealist painter Santiago Ribeiro, to promote this unique form of artist expression worldwide. The exhibition is currently at the Galeria Vieira Portuense in Porto through 6 September 2014, and opens again 11 October at Palácio da Lousã in Lousã, in central Portugal.

Ribeiro developed Surrealism Now in Coimbra in 2010 with the assistance of the Bissaya Barreto Foundation. To date, the exhibition has been at the 50th anniversary of the Museu de Conimbriga (the second most visited museum in Portugal) and travelled to galleries in Paris, Madrid and Dallas.

The exhibition continues at Galeria Vieira Portunese until 6 September. The show reopens at Palácio da Lousã on 11 October.
