In recent seasons, Nuno Gama has celebrated Portugal’s rich heritage by utilizing masculine elements from navigation and military to create a unique look for today. For Spring | Summer 2017, however, Gama looks to Portugal’s future with a collection that is light, airy and contemporary. Mid-thigh shorts are paired with knit tops, or t-shirts and short jackets. Collarless, long-tailed cotton shirts hang below blazers and leather jackets, and worn with jeans or narrow pants. White and chambray, white and navy, and white and black are key combinations, only occasionally accented with muted stripes. A perfect look for brunches on the terrace, roof top parties and cocktails at the marina.
