2010
PortugalConfidential.com goes live on 16 July 2010, promising to profile “Everything Cool in Portugal.” A black background is selected to evoke a sense of exclusivity and mystery.
2012
The first redesign. Information is laid-out to exude more of an information resource site and less blog-like.
2013
Our first eBook, Haute & Cool Cuisine in Portugal is published. A mobile-friendly guide to the best restaurants in the country.
2014
Portugal Confidential Family is launched featuring venues and activities for kids. PC Family is shut down in 2017 to fully concentrate on the core PC site.
As no comprehensive country-wide site geared to gay lifestyle is available online, Portugal Confidential LGBT is born. PC LGBT was closed in 2020. Updated LGBT content to be added to the PC site.
In Association with The Address Magazine, we publish Portugal Confidential’s The Best of Lisbon. EBook is available online and through eReaders.
2015
Confidentially Speaking… interview series launches. We speak with Portuguese celebrities who have made an impact on the world, such as Herman José, Diogo Morgado, José Avillez and more.
Major redesign goes into effect, reducing the blackness, allowing for a more colorful approach.
2017
PC gets freshened-up, maintaining the original black header, but otherwise going for a clean, all-white look, except for an accent of mint green.
Taking advantage of PC’s online presence, knowledge of the country and amiable relationships, Portugal Confidential Experiences is born, providing inbound travel services to those seeking something special for their vacation.
2020
New look and new attitude. Content is narrowed to focus more on high-end travel and lifestyle. Clean white with block images complete the transformation.
