Almada 13 - Five Shops in One, Porto

Some might call it a concept shop. Others could say it’s a micro mall. Those more optimistic would describe it as a department store. We think it’s more of an emporium filled with boutiques selling some of the finest products made in Portugal. It’s Almada 13, at (where else?) Rua do Almada, Nº 13, in Porto.

Almada 13 is a unique concept in Porto’s Invicta (historic city center) neighborhood. It holds five shops, selling five distinct products designed and produced in Portugal.

■ Águas Furtadas – modern art, home decor and fashion products celebrating the heritage of Portugal
■ Aldeias Históricas de Portugal – features the beautiful modern fashions of designer Miguel Gigante made from traditional wool burel.
■ Cork & Co. – an eco-brand, of design furniture, bags and accessories, all made of cork.
■ Rota do Chá – clothing, accessories and tea (chá) for every mood and occasion.
■ The Yellow Boat – from furniture to bags, a store with products linked to the sea, beach and summer.
