It´s a fashion store….an art gallery…an antiques shop…and even, a tapas bar! It´s a little bit urban…somewhat vintage…and a whole lotta cool. It’s a great cultural spot to hang, do a little shopping, enjoy some art and take a break. It´s Armazém in Porto.
Armazém (“warehouse” in English) is aptly named. In the past, it was a storage facility for Real Companhia Velha wine and Port. The 1500 m2 space has been repurposed, maintaining much of the rustic and raw feel of the former tenant, while creating a hip cosmopolitan concept for Porto residents and tourists. Shops such as Mexxca, R & B and Sofia Ferreira are set up around the sides, while a café/bar serves drinks and tapas in the open center.
