Missoni, the iconic Italian fashion house known for its bold patterns and rich colors, makes its first foray into Portuguese real estate with Aroeira Collections by Missoni — a landmark development that brings together fashion, architecture, and nature in perfect harmony.
Set within a 350-hectare estate in Aroeira, Costa da Caparica, just 30 minutes south of Lisbon, the project is poised to become a premier destination for refined living. Surrounded by pine forests and minutes from golden Atlantic beaches, the location offers a rare blend of tranquility, beauty, and accessibility — ideal for international property seekers.

The project is a collaboration between Missoni and Norfin SGOIC, a leading real estate investment firm in Portugal, and is anchored by Missoni’s signature approach to aesthetics. “We wanted to create an environment that embodies our brand’s signature artistry while maintaining a connection to the natural surroundings,” says Alberto Caliri, Missoni’s Creative Director.
Aroeira Collections comprises 138 one- and two-bedroom hotel apartments, 40 residential apartments with two or three bedrooms, 24 houses ranging from two to four bedrooms, and 28 villas offering three to five bedrooms. Interiors are designed to reflect Missoni’s iconic style — vibrant, elegant, and unmistakably bold.

Portuguese architects Ana Costa, João Favila Meneses, and Pedro Domingos were selected to lead the architectural vision, creating structures that respect the landscape and elevate light and space. Complementing the architecture is the revival of heritage furniture pieces by Atelier Daciano da Costa. Under the leadership of Inês Cottinelli, the studio blends timeless Portuguese design with Missoni’s modern sensibility.
At the center of the community lies the Aroeira Collections Hotel and two 18-hole PGA championship golf courses — PGA Aroeira No. 1 and No. 2 — making this Portugal’s only official PGA-branded venue. With renovations underway and a new clubhouse in the works, Aroeira is set to become a benchmark for golf in Europe.

Sustainability is central to the project’s vision, aligning with EU Taxonomy and LEED standards, with endemic landscaping and eco-conscious construction. With an investment of €200 million, the project will enhance tourism, create jobs, and redefine the luxury coastal experience in Portugal.
Property sales are now open. Construction begins Q3 2025, with completion expected in 2027.
