Avenew is a cosmopolitan cocktail bar lounge in Lisbon. It’s at Rua Joaquim António de Aguiar, 45A, just a couple blocks west of Avenida da Liberdade. It’s a swanky spot for signature and classic cocktails, wine, munchies and music.
The bar on the main floor is open Tuesday to Sunday. Here, you can enjoy original cocktails like the Jazz Crusta or Lady Mulata. Of course, they also mix up traditional drinks like a Gibson Martini and Negroni.
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, there’s live entertainment on the upper floor. Guest artists are programmed providing a unique blend of international music.
A food menu runs from nibbles to meals. The concept is a musical concert. In the Prelude, choose form nuts to olives. The First Act offers cheese and meat boards, and crostini. The Second Act features quiches, salads and tasty dishes like tuna tartare and beef carpaccio. The sweet Third Act entices with chocolate and lemon mousse, crème brulée and salted caramel ice cream. And for the Finale!…Port wine, coffee and tea.
