Chocolataria Equador on Rua Sá da Bandeira is a contemporary confectionier in retro styling. Step through the contemporary façade into a realm of wood and glass display cases, filled with handmade chocolates wrapped in ornate retro papers. The unmistakable and exhilarating aroma of cocoa permeates the room.
A treasure trove of bon bons, truffles, macaroons, and chocolate bars are there for tasting. And a selection of coffees, cappuccinos and hot chocolates are available to accompany the treats.
Of course, chocolate makes great gifts too. So, the artisans here have designed gorgeous gift boxes and various packing options to take your chocolate-aficionado. Themed products are available for special celebrations too, especially Valentine’s Day, Easter and Christmas.
