In Portugal, coffee is a beloved beverage. And for many Portuguese, Delta is their favorite brand of coffee.
In 1994, the Delta opened up a museum at their company facility in Portalegre. The museum honors the coffee cycle from plantation to cup. Visitors get to know how coffee is grown, understand the technology behind production, see different varieties of coffee and learn about roasting methods. The museum also tells the story of Delta founder Rui Nabeiro.
Of course, at the end of the exhibition, visitors get to sample aromatic coffee products and shop at the Delta store.
