The initial collection consists of five soaps honoring the five key moments and locations of the Portuguese Discoveries. Exclusive scents were developed in a Portuguese perfume factory, with each ingredient selected to create aromatic imagery of the five exotic lands. Beautifully-illustrated packing compliments the theme and scent of each soap.

This northern Africa city is first stop on the journey of Portuguese discoveries. The scents in this soap evoke memories of warm Mediterranean breezes filled aromas of Arab markets like saffron and Juniper berry spices, grapefruit and raspberries, and cashmere and leather goods.

The Cape of Torments, also known in history as the Cape of Storms and Cape of Good Hope, at the bottom of the African continent is the setting for this moment. This soap smells of courage with a masculine marine scent of cedar, algae, musk, sandalwood, rosemary, mint and juniper berries.

The India journey represents Portugal’s success in discovering a sea route to the country where spices were as valuable as gold. This soap carries the fragrance of jasmine, rose, orange blossom and bergamot, blended with vanilla, coriander, pink pepper, musk and caramel.
