Fabrica Lisboa – Hot Bread and Pastries Baked Fresh in Lisbon

Fabrica Lisboa

It’s morning in Lisbon.  You need a coffee, and something fresh and delicious to get you started in your day.  Where’s the cool place for hot bread, croissants and pastries?  At Fabrica Lisboa, on Rua da Madelena in the Baixa. Handmade, still warm from the oven, goodness delivered to the table.  Add a high-quality espresso from the vintage coffee machine or a fresh-squeezed orange juice and you’ve got the beginnings of a beautiful day.

Croissants are their specialty.  Grab a plain croissant for only €1.20. Or, splurge on ham and cheese, peanut butter, salmon and cream cheese, strawberry jam, Nutella, or sweet eggs (€1.90 to €3.30).  If you’re hungry, the Fabrica LX is stuffed full with two eggs, tomato, cheese, ham lettuce and comes with fresh oregano potato chips (€7.00).

A little hungrier?  Fabrica Lisboa has sandwiches in traditional bread or toasts, Portuguese soups, as well as four types of salads.  Perfect for snack or a quick light lunch.
