There is no doubt that a highlight of the Algarve Summer event season is the Festival Med in Loulé. Celebrate Mediterranean culture and international music, featuring 54 artists representing 31 countries on 12 stages. Street performers wander around the old town providing entertainment. Food stalls line the alleyways. Arts and crafts, poetry, cinema, children’s activities, exhibitions and lectures round out this fabulous festival. Festival Med 2025 runs from 26-29 June.
Another important feature of this year’s festival is Open Day! On Sunday, 30 June, the festival is open and free to the public to mix and mingle and take part in final activities.

In addition to world music, other multiculturalism activities are planned around film, theater, visual arts, gastronomy and crafts.
The entrance to Festival Med is at the front of the historic Municipal Market. Tickets are available at the MED Ticket Office in front of the Municipal Market. tickets can be purchased in advance online here.
