Giardino’s menu celebrates the regional cuisine of Lombardy, Piedmont, Naples, Capri and Sicily. A large selection of antipasti, including burrata, beef carpaccio, mortadella, artichokes and fried mixed seafood—is sure to whet your appetite. Follow this with a pizza (caprese, hot salami, black truffle, four cheese or vegetable), or pasta (rigatoni, cannelloni, linguine or tagliolini), or risotto (Milanese or asparagus). For meat lovers, you can order a 700gm Bistecca with lemon potatoes, green salsa, cherry tomato and balsamic. And, pescatarians will be pleased with the “catch of the day.”
Desserts selections are all quite tempting, but every Giardino server in the room recommended the tiramisu. And, they were spot on!! The tiramisu that arrives in a plastic sheath, is “unveiled” with the creamy top layer oozing down the cake onto the plate. It is divine.
Complement the meal with a tasty Italian wine, prosecco or vermouth.
