From 9 to 17 May, the Lisbon Art & Antiques Fair (LAAF) returns to the majestic Cordoaria Nacional. Art aficionados rejoice! Now in its 22nd edition, the fair brings together 35 carefully selected exhibitors—including antique dealers, jewelry experts, and galleries specializing in design, modern, and contemporary art. It’s a vibrant celebration of artistic heritage and innovation, drawing collectors and creatives from around the globe.
This year introduces a standout new element: acclaimed Portuguese painter Pedro Calapez joins as guest artist. His Lameiros series—four striking pieces inspired by the northeastern landscapes of Trás-os-Montes—will greet visitors at the entrance. These works offer an evocative reflection on nature and time, setting the tone for a fair that bridges eras and aesthetics.

As always, LAAF’s Curated Talks series adds depth to the experience, with thought-provoking discussions tailored for collectors, curators, interior designers, and anyone with a passion for art. The programme speaks to an increasingly discerning audience seeking both beauty and meaning in every piece.
