Aficionados of urban contemporary art are in for a treat. Lisbon Art Weekend, returns for a third edition–Thursday, 5th through Sunday, 8th November. 38 galleries, representing 200 national and international artists, invite you in to celebrate contemporary art with exhibitions, guided tours, performances and more.

Organized as a non-profit, Lisbon Art Weekend is intended to bring more attention to the city’s contemporary art scene by opening-up and planning special events at galleries, artist spaces, private art collections, museums and public projects dedicated to the arts.
Participating galleries for the 2025 edition are below (click each gallery to learn more and see their address). Participants for 2026 will be announced closer to the date of the event.

Lisbon museums are getting into the act as well. Participating institutions include: CAM – Cente of Art Moderna Gulbenkian; Fundação Arpad Szenes – Vieira da Silva; Fundação Joana Vasconcelos; Fundação PLMJ; MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology; MACAM – Museum of Contemporary Art Armando Martins; and MNAC – National Museum of Contemporary Art in Chiado.
