Lux Frágil – Lisbon’s Premier Party Place

lux fragil lisbon

If you’re Madonna, Cameron Diaz or Leo DiCaprio, and you’re in Lisbon for the night, where do you hang?  The stylish and fashionable Lux-Frágil, of course.

Lux-Fragil is located in the warehouse district, across from Santa Apolónia station, and overlooking the Tagus River. The interior of the ultra-cool club is spacious, contemporary, with a funky retro influence.

There are two floors of entertainment.  Top DJs spin edgy tracks on the ground floor, whipping dancers into a frenzy on the large dance floor.  Upstairs an alternative music sets a different tone for guests who want to relax a little and take in the scenery.  Keep going up, though.  On the roof is a terrace with expansive views across the river.  Great for taking in the sunrise!

Hint:  Lux-Frágil has a very strict and subjective door policy. The door staff try to maintain a good mix of girls-to-guys, but first and foremost, you gotta look good and you gotta look like you want to have a good time.  You won’t be allowed in if you seem drunk and rowdy.    For the best chance at entering, get there between 23:00 and 02:00.  The busiest arrival time is between 2:00 and 3:00, when the party really gets going.
