Italian brand Miu Miu is in the elite collection of designer shops on the fashionable Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon. Miu Miu can be found at No. 92.
Miu Miu is a sister label of the hugely popular Prada brand. It debuted in 1993 when designer Miuccia Prada decided to create a more playful collection of ready-to-wear fashions. The label was named for the familiar nickname of the designer.
Architect Roberto Baciocchi, responsible for the modern, minimal concepts of most Prada and Miu Miu stores throughout the world, supervised construction and design of the Lisbon shop. It is 450 square meters across two floors. Baciocchi took care to maintain the original structure of the historical building while injecting a bright, minimal modernity to the space. A heavy use of mirrors reflect a palette of gold, camel and green.
The store features the full Miu Miu product range. There is a huge selections of bags, shoes and accessories, which the leather manufacturer is famous for, as well as ready-to-wear fashions, eyewear and more.
