Rice Museum (Muesu do Arroz) in Comporta

A 1952 rice-husking mill is the home of the Rice Museum. Here, visitors go back in time to see the importance of the cereal in history of Herdade da Comporta.

The museum features a collection of used in carpentry and metalwork, associated with the cultivation of rice. There are also old machines used in husking, sorting and cleaning rice, as well as a number of items used by workers in the fields and factory.



The Museu do Arroz restaurant is also here. It is a very popular spot in the region for dining and having coffee.
