Step into the enchanting world of “Terra & Mar,” a captivating group exhibition presented by In The Pink gallery of fine photo art in Loulé. This unique showcase, featuring the extraordinary works of four talented Portuguese photographers–João Mariano, Maria Oliveira, Nuno Cera, and Vasco Celio–invites you on a visual odyssey where the earth converges with the sea, unraveling the intricate tapestry of our beautiful country.
Maria Oliveira, through her artworks, weaves a poetic tale of the struggle to tame the tides for salt production. Her lens captures the fragility of those who depend on the land, finding beauty in the ordinary moments that often go unnoticed.

João Mariano‘s lens takes you on a journey through the ancestral ways of human habitation in Portugal. From the rugged lives of those harvesting gooseneck barnacles on rocky seashores to the delicate artistry involved in crafting medronho in mountainous regions, Mariano’s series is a vivid portrayal of the diverse lives intertwined with the land.
Vasco Celio‘s “Hidden Book of Odds” is a visual revelation, uncovering the poetry in the everyday. His works encourage viewers to rediscover their surroundings, revealing untold stories in the seemingly ordinary.
Nuno Cera‘s series captures the eternal dance between the sea and the land, freezing moments in time with still waves and mysterious caves. His lens invites you to explore the vastness of the sea and the uncharted territories it holds.
“Terra & Mar” presents In The Pink’s unwavering dedication to showcasing and promoting the remarkable talent within the Portuguese artistic community.
