The refurbishment of Comporta village’s old cinema and adjacent rice barn has resulted in Casa da Cultura (the House of Culture). A local project which now houses exhibitions together with spaces for up to 11 pop-up stores. The white-washed building with local blue trim is located on Rua do Secador and is accessed via its original barn doors. With an interior inspired by the historical Carraqueira pier, you will find yourself navigating wooden walkways as you discover the wares of local artisans.
