On the EN-125 just west of Alcantarilha is another amazing Algarve water park. Aqualand Algarve has enough attractions to keep your family and friends busy all day. The Anaconda is a snakes nest of five wild slides. Bonzai Boggin drops you 23 meters, skimming you across the pool below. The Kamikaze is even higher at 36 meters. For kids, the new Mini-Park is packed with mini-slides, showers and giant crayons in a shallow pool. Adults get to relax while floating on the 270 meter Congo River.

AquaShow Park is a vast park with water and ride attractions. Older kids will love the Wild Snake covered, circular 16 meter slide. Krazy World is CRAZY. It’s a theme park. It’s a zoo. It’s a water park. It’s fun for the whole family. Animals are a large part of this attraction. In the Amazon, there are crocodiles, snakes, lizards and turtles. In another area, Krazy world has camels, llamas and deer. Kids get up-close-and-personal with goats and sheep in the Petting Farm, and they can experience a real pony ride. The park also has a mini-golf course, karting track and large swimming pool. Mariparque is a water amusement park with water slides, soft slides, toboggans, and spiraling slide (also known as “the snail”). There are also swimming pools and Aqualand for children and adults. There is a special play area for little ones too. In addition to games and activities, kids can meet and play with Cristalina, the mascot of the water park. For older kids, the park also offers “extreme” activities (at an extra cost), such as kayaking, orienteering, obstacle courses, archery, aqua ball, shooting with a blowgun, mountain biking and more. Parque Aquático in Amarante is the one and only water park in the north of Portugal! Located just 60km east of Porto, the water park enjoys beautiful views over the Tamega River. The Vaga Splash Water Park offers slippery, splashy, cool water-y moments of joy and fun in Praia Da Vagueira, near Aveiro in central Portugal. The water park consists of three exciting slides, as well as three different pools for adults and children.
