Summer in the Algarve (un)officially begins with a giant party on the beach! Carvoeiro Black & White Night has become THE first “don’t miss” event of the season. Everyone is invited to join the summer fun in the Carvoeiro city center, from the beach (Largo da Praia), along Rua do Barranco, and down Estrada do Farol. The dress code, of course, is black and white.
The program for 2026 is still in development. Check back with Portugal Confidential in mid June.
Yes, there is limited parking, but have no fear, the Lagoa municipality has organized free buses from various parking lots around the Lagoa council: Fatacil, Intermarché, Apolónia, Aldi and o Gramital (land located in front of Aldi). The round-trip buses will run from 18:00 to 04:00.
