From May 8, In The Pink Gallery of Fine Photo Art in Loulé presents Bowie: The Photographers—a striking exhibition celebrating David Bowie through the lenses of some of the world’s most iconic image-makers.
More than just a subject, Bowie was a true collaborator, shaping his visual identity as boldly as his music. This show brings together rare and original fine art photographs spanning decades of reinvention—from Ziggy Stardust to his later, introspective years—offering a vivid portrait of an artist who understood the power of the camera like few others.

- Brian Duffy – Creator of the legendary Aladdin Sane lightning bolt image, often dubbed the “Mona Lisa of Pop.”
- Steve Schapiro – Captured Bowie in 1970s Los Angeles, producing images tied to Station to Station and Low.

- Justin de Villeneuve – Shot the iconic Pin Ups cover with a spontaneous Polaroid.

- Denis O’Regan – Bowie’s longtime tour photographer, documenting over 200 concerts worldwide.
