One year after opening its doors in the hills of the central Algarve, Viceroy at Ombria Algarve is marking the occasion with an evening that reflects everything the resort has come to represent: authentic local culture, exceptional hospitality, wellness, gastronomy, and a deep connection to nature.
Taking place on 2 July from 18:00 to 23:00, the First Anniversary Celebration invites guests, partners, residents, and the wider community to experience the resort through a curated program of entertainment, culinary experiences, and lifestyle activities.
Set within the resort’s picturesque village-inspired setting, the event unfolds as a journey through the many experiences that define Ombria Algarve. Guests can enjoy a sunset pool party featuring live music and a DJ set, sample barbecue specialties and refreshing drinks, browse a local artisan market, and discover some of the region’s creative talents and producers.

The celebration also showcases the resort’s wellness and outdoor offerings. Visitors can explore The Spa at Ombria Algarve, visit the Experiences Centre, enjoy an outdoor cinema screening beneath the stars, and take part in a stargazing session that highlights the clear night skies of the Algarve countryside.
Since its opening, Viceroy at Ombria Algarve has established itself as one of Portugal’s most distinctive luxury destinations, combining contemporary hospitality with the character of a traditional Algarve village. Surrounded by rolling hills, cork forests, and walking trails, the resort offers an immersive experience that celebrates the culture, flavors, and natural beauty of the region.
Priced at €85 per person, the ticket includes access to the full evening program and all scheduled activities. Children aged 12 and above are charged the full ticket price.
