Five years after opening in Marvila, the furniture purveyor Cantinho do Vintage moved to bigger, fancier digs in late 2021.
The new space spans three floors and more than 9,000 square meters of exhibition space to display the store’s collection of tables, sideboards, armchairs, sofas, shelves, and lamps. The predominant styles are industrial vintage and Nordic design, and the owners source pieces from Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, and Portugal.
The pieces are unique and timeless, mostly dating from the decades between the 1920s and the 1980s. But there are also replicas of classic pieces and items inspired by vintage and industrial design, sold under their own brand, Vintage & Friends.
