COS is now on Lisbon’s luxury street of fashion. People who know a thing or two about retail and shopping know that COS is the acronym for “Collection of Style”. They also know it’s the upscale offshoot of the extremely popular Swedish-based H & M chain of stores (Hennes & Mauritz Group). COS offers looks for women and men who want modern, functional, considered design Look for COS at Nº 67 Avenida da Liberdade.
The philosophy behind the COS concept is explained on their website as, “favoring style over fashion, we like timeless design that lives beyond the season; merging traditional methods with new techniques and innovative fabrics, we work hard to create fashion pieces that look and feel at once classic and modern.”
Much like the collection itself, each new COS location is carefully considered with a design concept that preserves a classic building’s original features while creating a modern gallery space. In Lisbon, the group identified the iconic building at 67 Avenida da Liberdade. The new store encompasses three floors with 395m2 of space.
