The story of Frida Kahlo, one of the most iconic and intriguing artists of all time, comes to life in a multi-media immersive experience in Lisbon. Through the use of historic photographs and original films, projected in 360º theatre, Ocubo, the lauded producers of the show, tell the story of the Mexican artist and find meaning in her surreal paintings. Frida Kahlo: The Life of an Icon plays regularly at the Reservatório da Mãe D’Água das Amoreiras.
Various spaces of the historic Reservatório da Mãe D’Agua provide a unique staging for this spectacular show. Along the journey of the experience, guests are treated to a sensorial fantasy of sight and sound through the use or video-mapping, animated holograms and virtual reality.
