In the Pink Gallery in Loulé will presents a new solo exhibition by acclaimed Portuguese artist and photographer Nuno Cera on 28 November 28. The show presents key works from three of his most significant long-term series: Janela Infinita (Infinite Window), A Room With A View, and Hora Certa (Right Time).
Spanning multiple decades and locations, the exhibition reflects on how landscape, architecture, and light influence our sense of time and place. Cera’s photographic style is often described as cinematic—subtle, contemplative, and suspended between observation and fiction.
At the heart of the exhibition, Infinite Window explores the ocean as both subject and metaphor. Through imagery of coastal and river settings, mist, sky, and water merge into poetic visual meditations. A Room With A View captures nocturnal scenes of cities such as Madrid and Paris seen from hotel rooms, evoking the duality between the private interior and the expansive urban landscape. Right Time reveals fleeting transitional moments across cities, when ordinary environments become charged with light, stillness, and quiet intensity.

Cera’s work has been showcased at institutions including Serralves Museum, MAAT, CCCB Barcelona, and the Venice Architecture Biennale. He is currently co-curator of the 2025 Portuguese Pavilion (Paraíso, Hoje) and artist-in-residence at the Champalimaud Foundation.
